The problem posed, is with regard to design coding and testing of a modular and user friendly software to present a list of candidates and their platforms, authenticate the voter and record their vote. The system should use a uniquely identifying feature of the voter such as a combination personal information and iris pattern or finger print to authenticate the voter. The system should collaborate with other like systems to reduce redundancy and duplication in order to provide an accumulative result.
Scope:
The system must be fast, user friendly to use and media rich in its use of HCI. It must be based on a Linux platform and incorporate X-Windows. The system should be able to collaborate with other like systems to pool or to query information
