Project Description - Expert System / Knowledge Based system
Project Statement:
The problem posed, is with regard to the design and development of an expert system or knowledge based system with the ability to learn from inputs from a particular field of expertise and then deduce new knowledge from its bank of logic and information.
Scope:
The system must be built on a Linux platform and must make use of the x-windows system in its HCI. It must be built with a combination of development tools including LISP and PROLOG with a bit of assembler where required to speed up the logic crunching process. Above all, it must be easy to use and help make a true difference in its sphere of operation.
